The Elevator

About

The Elevator is the long standing student newspaper of Oregon City High School, with the oldest print copy available being from 1981. We have been serving our community for over 30 years, and plan to have many more to come. Run by students, for students, our aim is to connect to our peers in ways we haven’t before, providing a reliable and honest source of news.

If are you are interested in joining our staff, Journalism Club meets on Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30 in B107. All students are welcome to join. There are titled positions for writers, reporters,  editors, graphic designers, photographers, web developers, and fundraisers. There are opportunities to write for an audience of your peers about sports, entertainment, student life, opinion and argumentative writing and current events.
